The Faculty of Medicine Building
The ten-story building of the Faculty of Medicine houses teaching, research, and administrative facilities in a 260,000-square-foot structure. The building serves as headquarters for faculty and students of the Faculty of Medicine. It comprises the offices of the Dean, administrative units, student services, and lecture rooms, auditoriums, and laboratories.
The Gitter-Smolarz Library of Life Sciences and Medicine
The Library occupies a new three-story building adjacent to the Sackler Faculty of Medicine Building. It serves the students and staff of both the George S. Wise Faculty of Life Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine. Each of the hospitals connected with the faculty of medicine has a medical library.
It also serves as the central library for the Medical Consortium, Tel Aviv area. The Library’s collection contains books, ebooks, journals and e-journals, electronic databases, audiovisual material, computer programs, and multimedia.
The Library’s homepage on the Internet provides comprehensive information on the library and its services. It also provides access to the catalog, e-books and e-journals, databases, and useful links to Internet sites.

Friday: 8:00 AM–12:45 PM
Entrance to the library is permitted up to 15 minutes prior to closing

The University Bookstore
The University Bookstore and Press is located on the ground floor of the Mitchell Student Center. The store sells educational and reference books, stationery supplies, and other items such as small gifts, TAU T-shirts, and sweatshirts.
Store hours:
Sunday through Thursday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Fridays: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
The University Press is located adjacent to the Student Building and publishes books and educational materials for students. Advice and service are available on duplicating and printing of seminar works, and final and doctoral theses.
The Press is open Sunday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Tel Aviv University Sports Center
The Elite Sports Center is equipped with an Olympic-size swimming pool, floodlit tennis courts, a basketball court, a running track, and a soccer stadium. The Goldreich Multipurpose Sports Building houses fitness and weight rooms, squash courts, and a gymnastics hall. A sports pass entitles you to use all sports facilities, classes, and activities for a nominal fee.
